Help us to reach more people!

It’s that time of the year again… Thanks to your votes, you elected us as the best catholic Website, Podcast, iPhone and iPad app for 2011 and 2012. This recognition helped many people, who would have never found us otherwise, join in praying the Liturgy of the Hours. 2013 is here and Nominations for the 2013 About.com Catholicism Readers Choice Awards are now open!

“We want this Year to arouse in every believer the aspiration to profess the faith in fullness and with renewed conviction, with confidence and hope. It will also be a good opportunity to intensify the celebration of the faith in the liturgy [...] At the same time, we make it our prayer that believers’ witness of life may grow in credibility. To rediscover the content of the faith that is professed, celebrated, lived and prayed, and to reflect on the act of faith, is a task that every believer must make his own, especially in the course of this Year.” (Apostolic Letter Porta Fidei, Pope Benedict XVI)

DivineOffice.org ministry joins the ever ancient and always new hymn of praise in the daily work, nourishment and commemoration which is prayer in community. You can help us to reach more people by nominating and voting for Divine Office on About.com’s 2013 Readers’ Choice Awards!

DivineOffice.org ministry believes “… it is supremely to be hoped that the Liturgy of the Hours may pervade and penetrate the whole of Christian prayer, giving it life, direction and expression, and effectively nourishing the spiritual life of the people of God.” [#8, Apostolic Constitution, LOTH]

About.com’s 2013 Readers’ Choice Awards will showcase the best products, features and services in multiple categories. Nominations will be accepted from 12:00 A.M. EST on January 14, 2013, until 12:00 A.M. EST on February 11, 2013. Last year you showed your love for our apps by nominating also our Catholicpedia and Prayer apps, which were ranked among the top 10 Catholic apps too!… But then you had to make a choice on what app to vote. For this reason we’re not going to ask you to nominate these apps as runner-ups this year: this will allow other ministries to gain some visibility too, which we feel is the real purpose of this initiative.
