As producer of Divine Office it has been my pleasure to work with talented and dedicated volunteers who spend uncountable hours in the studio creating this beautiful liturgy. I want to extend my personal thanks to Chriss, Denise, and Greg for their selfless donation of time to the benefit of our community in God’s worship.
Divine Office is produced by our ministry with the purpose of promoting the tradition of praying always through these ancient treasures of the Church, not only to Catholics but to all Christians universally.
We hope everyone will enjoy these free daily inspirational scriptures and prayers. Listening to psalms in the morning as you start your day or at the conclusion in the evening is a wonderful form of prayer with the benefit of being the confluence of inspirational poems and scripture.
We welcome suggestions, content, and ideas of how to make this a better resource for you as well as a better resource for our Lord.
Please pray with us, we are praying for you!
Thank you and may God bless you,
Dane

There are a lot of very good Lay Carmelites praying the Divine Office and many, many other organizations within the many churches and it may be interesting to allow submissions of their sessions and thus have an occasional guest appearance on your most excellent website.

@Tobias, very good idea. It would be wonderful to find a way to allow that.

Hello there. Thanks for this marvellous resource! I need this for those long hours in the car, when there’s no one with me to lead in prayer. I’m new to the whole mp3 world. I’ve got a player, and I’ve successfully sync’d other audio files to it, but how do I get your podcasts into my Windows Media Player?
Is there a wizard or how-to section?
Thanks for any help you can offer this techno-challenged priest.
Fr. Matt

@Matthew George, I hope that someone will give you better advise then this. I will try, but it will help to know what brand of MP3 player you are using?

Dane! Love the site! I was wondering if you needed any help with the site. I am graphic/web designer and was in seminary for 4 1/2 years and love having the Office technically accessible.
I wanted to shoot you a plug suggestion: WP Touch (http://tinyurl.com/68z8og) It is a slick little iPhone formatted plugin. This would be great to give people the quickness of iPhone access to the breviary.
Contact me if you would like any help!

@dkedinger, it is very likely that we could use your help. The WP Touch recommendation is excellent. Here are a few secrets about this site, secret only because I haven’t felt a need or timing was not right, that you should know and perhaps you will have some ideas.
1. We are submitting our iPhone App to Apple within one week. It is incredibly simple to use and doesn’t require synching to get the prayers for today. It also features fabulous religious art for memorials and solemnities. We anticipate charging about $14.99 or something to help finance this ministry and cover the cost of development.
2. Our iTunes RSS feed is manipulated for better titles on an MP3 player and automatically keeps 7 days of future prayers in the queue so that synching is only necessary once per week.
3. Can’t think of anything more, but there is.
You are OK to reference your company portfolio here in comments. I found your Catholic Elementary site to be fabulous.

@jonathan, I am interested in the hint of what this could offer. If I understand you correctly this might be a way for me to add other people’s and communities prayers to the ones we are creating. Is that right? If not, what things might we do with subscriber subdomains?

Thank you for responding so generously to God’s call to this ministry! I have been looking for an online resource for the Liturgy of the Hours. Now I have found it! May God continue to bless you and your ministry with success.
