Praise for the wonderful things God does for us
He has won us for himself… and you must proclaim what he has done for you. He has called you out of darkness into his own wonderful light (see 1 Peter 2:9).

Praise the name of the Lord,

in the courts of the house of our God.

READING 2 Timothy 1:9-10
God has saved us and has called us to a holy life, not because of any merit of ours but according to his own design — the grace held out to us in Christ Jesus before the world began but now made manifest through the appearance of our Savior. He has robbed death of its power and has brought life and immortality into clear light through the gospel.

The soul rejoices in the Lord
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,

Today our Savior was adored by the Magi. Let us also worship him with joy as we pray:

King of the nations, you called the Magi to adore you as the first representatives of the nations,
