The Divine Office Ministry and the creators of the Rosario app share a common mission, to bring people together in prayer. For that, we are happy to covey their message:
“For Christians, the month of May is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ and of all mankind. The Hozana association, which specializes in online prayer programs, asked itself how to thank the Blessed Virgin for all the love and graces she bestows on mankind, how to give her a gift worthy of her love for the world?
With its Rosario application, the Hozana association is inviting the whole world to take advantage of this month to give the Blessed Virgin a huge gift: a bouquet of a million roses!
In concrete terms, during the month of May, every decade of “Hail Marys” prayed with the Rosario app in her honor will be like a spiritual rose offered to her as a sign of love and trust.
The challenge is demanding, but achievable! It’s simply a question of responding to the Virgin Mary’s many requests. Indeed, at each of her apparitions, including those at Fatima, the Virgin explicitly asked: “My dear children, pray the rosary!”
When the challenge is met, the Hozana association is committed to depositing tens of thousands of real roses to the Virgin Mary at the world’s most visited Marian shrine, Our Lady of Guadalupe, in Mexico. This carpet of roses will symbolize the immense spiritual gift offered to the Virgin by believers all over the world!
The event will of course be shared with all participants in this challenge.
To take part, simply download Rosario here, create a group and invite your friends and family, so that together you can offer as many roses as possible to the Virgin Mary. You can also join a pre-existing group with people you don’t know.
Rosario is an application available in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese, which allows you to pray the Rosary in a group. As the Rosary is made up of five decades (a decade corresponds to one prayer of the Our Father and ten prayers of the Hail Mary), Rosario enables users to form groups of five people, each responsible for praying one decade a day. In this way, the five of them pray a Rosary a day, for a prayer intention chosen together. For example: the healing of a loved one, a friend’s professional success, a sister’s search for a place to live, a cousin’s spiritual journey, etc.
The Rosary is an extremely powerful prayer for fighting evil. It was the Virgin Mary herself who asked people to pray the Rosary, as witnessed by her apparitions to the shepherds at Fatima in 1917, where she said, among other things: “I am from Heaven… recite the rosary every day to obtain peace for the world”.”

Let's pray for young people who are just starting out in life, especially those without degrees. They work hard and often are not equitably rewarded for their work. High rents take most of their income. Let's pray that business owners pay fair wages and give salary increases. God bless hard workers.

Other things that might help with anx/depress-listening to praise music, singing, reading spiritual books, reading the Bible or listening to the Bible in a year podcast, have a priest bless your home, you bless your home especially windows and doors, take a warm bath, lite candles, funny movie, etc

Praying 4 all those who struggle w/anxiety-depression. God please fill them w/ your love & peace. What has helped me is when I get anxious is I pray the rosary &/or hold the cross &/or listen to relaxing music. When I have trouble sleeping I pray or just talk 2 God. Bless yourself often w/Holy Water

I have prayed the Divine Office for many years. [...] When I discovered this app, all of my concerns of ribbon placement were gone. Having the Divine Office on my phone is absolutely the best thing ever! The sense of community is so wonderful as I see how many others are praying at the same time as myself. [...] Now I don’t need to turn a lamp on as I use to when I used the Office printed volumes. It is such a blessing to have the Divine Office in my pocket. Many times I’ve been sitting in a doctor’s waiting room at the time of Mid Morning prayer. It is so calming of any worries to pull out my phone, open the app, and be able to connect with Our Lord at those times I need Him most. I don’t use the audio version much but the few times I’ve traveled, it is so comforting to not have to skip the Office in order to keep my hands on the steering wheel and my eyes in the road. I recommend this app to friends all the time, especially to those who’d like to pray the Office but feel intimidated by the size of the printed version and getting the ribbons placed properly. Thank you for developing this app. It is my constant companion.

Super helpful
I have only been introduced to the divine office prayers two times before I downloaded this app. It is laid out in a way that is very easy to understand, and there is an audio option that will say all of the prayers. There is an option to set reminders throughout the day. I got this because, I didn’t really know how to say the divine office, and I didn’t know what prayer books I needed to purchase to begin. During the shutting down of churches for covid :( this has been a wonderful resource. One cool feature is that you can tap on the “in prayer” link and see little specks of light around the globe lighting up in the area that someone else is praying. It’s so cool to see everyone praying with you and is a powerful reminder that we are all connected and unified in Christ’s mystical body.

Praying with the whole Church
I love this app! Since it is now free and no longer for sale, I made sure to donate the price of buying it, and then some. I have loved the Liturgy of the Hours for 25 years. But I always felt alone when I prayed it. With this app, I am connected to others! I use it in conjunction with my printed Christian Prayer volume. On other days, I cannot get to my book but with the app, I always have the prayers available. I have the printed calendar with my book, but I actually rely on this more for placing my ribbons. The audio is wonderful!! I often read out loud with it. I love that I can change the speed of the audio! I have found that 1.3 is good for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this app. Thank you for still supporting it. Thank you for updating the “one God,” to just “God” change in the prayers. My book still throws me off but your app is right! Highly recommend this. Many friends have it. THANK YOU!!
