Every good and perfect gift is from above – James 1:17

Just recently, DivineOffice.org has made another step to ensure the survival of this ministry: we have been granted the 501(c)(3) Nonprofit status and your contributions are tax deductible. This status is granted retroactive to the formation of the non-profit entity, which we did June 2, 2016.

We are working on providing each of you a statement of your yearly contributions via email. But those of you who own an account with the website can obtain a statement of your yearly contributions at any time by going to your Profile page and clicking on the Contributions Statement link on the right-hand side of the site.

Your effort in kindness to sustain this work is a blessing, we see God’s mercy and His guiding hand reach us through you. You can join in sustaining our efforts using the on-line form at the following URL: http://divineoffice.org/newsletter/contribute or you can mail a check.

Please make your checks out as payable to Divine Office and mail them to the following address:

Please include your email address and let us know if you wish this gift to be anonymous.

  1. congratulations on your new well deserved designation. bless you for being such a quiet, positive and unitive force in this mad and beautiful world. long live divineoffice.org! Deo gratias!

  2. Am glad to learn about the 501(c)3 you guys derserve it considering the enormous souls been held high to God here. It pains that as a monk, my impart will not be felt economically but be rest assured of my daily prayers for you all, I honestly appreciate you’ll. As you may know our lives as monk, “work of God” is our divine calling….do pray for us to remain focus. God bless you’ll as you continue to spread the message of the kingdom of God. Amen.

  3. I accidentally cleared all my apps from my kindle and was able to get almost all of them back except Divine Office. I know you’re not able to allow newcomers to get the app, but is there any way I can get it back? Thanks and God bless,

  4. Is there any way to get help locating the reading for the Morning Prayer; April 11, 2018 (St. Stanislaus). The site calls out 1 John 5:3-5 but I can’t find that reading in my single volume on either page 1414 (one martyr) or 1426 (pastor)

    • My four volume set has it as the reading for one martyr in Easter season. My single volume doesn’t have a separate reading for Easter season.

    • If you tap (or click on, depending on the device you are using) on the first book photo in the left column of this page, it will take you to the Amazon site where the single-volume book is available. It is also available from the book store at the Basilica/national Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC, which has an online site for ordering.

    • I have both the one volume Christian Prayer and the Shorter Christian Prayer. I love both but only the Four Volume set seems to be complete. There are a few things missing from the one volume Christian Prayer and even more things missing from the Shorter Christian Prayer. I say this only to those who are new to the Divine Office and have not yet bought any of the books. I say this to make the point that the Four Volume set will have all of the special content for special Feasts and Saints when the one volume books may not. At least that’s how it seems to me.

  5. I love Divine Office. I also enjoy the women who sing the hymns very much. I’m thankful to God that you received the 501 (c)(3) designation…well deserved because y’all provide a fantastic, inspirational service to us Catholics. Keep on doing your good work in serving the Lord and praising His holy name!

  6. Thank you very much fo accepting me as new member. Yesterday, I learned about this website from another priest.
On his kindle he showed me a display of all those around the world praying the office at that very moment. How inspiring that was for me!

    In the Redeemer,
    Fr. Tim, Cssr

      • Chloe,
I agree! Our Faith is lifted up and strengthened when we pray together.
        Fr. Tim

  7. Congratulations. I know how hard it is to get this status and so very happy that you have.I look forward to getting this back on devices that I have switched so I have more access to the app.

God bless you for all the work you do for us and for our Lord.

  8. Congratulations on your new non-profit status.
Thank you DivineOffice.org for your blessed ministry-gift allowing to pray Office in community. As a former religious, it has been a struggle to pray Office alone.
When praying Office on computer; I often view a live stream of Our Blessed Sacrament in Exposition; frequently using: http://www.savior.org/ .
Our Holy Spirit blesses us with abundance to share here and other precious ministries.

  9. Let us give thanks for the 501(c)(3) designation! Generosity should not be burdened with taxes. And, thank you to the USA Gov’t for making this classification possible. It helps a lot of organizations help people through this “incentive.” Now, it can help DivineOffice.Org!

  10. Very glad to see that DO has taken this step. The Liturgy of the Hours service you provide is wonderful! So needed in this secular world we live in. You can count on my support.
