This is the Liturgy of the Hours for August 06. Your local date is .
The seed for this work was planted even earlier, in 2006, when our first Catholic website and podcast series went live. We started recording the Liturgy of the Hours with a few volunteers, their work and devotion survived the passage of time and the many obstacles we had to overcome.
Skipping forward many years, today, Divine Office just announced the availability of its award-winning, USCCB approved Liturgy of the Hours Audio on Spotify and Alexa and is in the final stages of a total makeover of its website. We’ll add functionality and a way for our prayer community members to interact more.
We take the opportunity to express a deeply felt gratitude and appreciation for all our donors, they make this ancient prayer of the Church available for those that can not afford to donate.
Thank you! Together, let us praise God for the many blessings that continue to nourish our faith and enhance our community!
Divine Office Team
Thank to all for this ministry. It is a wonderful gift of community since we are homebound.
Dear Divine Office team, I am an hermit from France. When a pastor, if I was sick, I used Divine Office, it’s the same today: sick I was unable to pray audibly for several weeks, so I just listened to Divine Office. Just sorry such a service doesn’t exist in French language. May God bless your holy team. Fr. Geoffroy de Lestrange
Praying for you.
God has done amazing work through you. Congratulations and thanks.
Amen
Thank you so much for your ministry. This is where I go first in my morning prayer. God bless you all.
Congratulations to the Divine Office.org team!
This is a great work you all are doing, helping improve the prayer life of so many Catholics around the world.
May God continue to bless your ministry and your lives.
We’re talking “mustard seed” here. Small and humble beginnings, now affecting MANY
Happy Birthday Divine Office. I am so grateful to you all for this opportunity to pray with others. I’ve been here since Dane first began recording the hours. One thing I used to enjoy was being able to see the google map showing where people were praying in live time. I hope you can bring that back. God bless you.
Thank you for the numerous years you have blessed us! May God keep you close to his heart. May you continue to be blessed by your ministry to all of us. Thank you so much. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for all of us who seek to do the will of God the Father.
Thank you Divine office for your hard work and dedication in providing this wonderful website. I so look forward to praying the prayers every day. God bless.
This is very convenient when I don’t have access to a breviary
When I had do get up and go to work insanely early to teach in public school I was able to say office with the phone when I had some free time. No one knew I was praying, which is not allowed by staff in school, because I was looking at my phone like everybody else. I greatly appreciated being able to do that. Thank you for making it possible.
Happy happy birthday, dear Divine Office!
Thank you so much for this website. I use this everyday as I am on the go quite a bit. I have it on my cell phone and use it regularly. God bless you and your team for a great site. Happy Birthday.

God blessed the work of all of your hands and for this I am so grateful. I and hopefully many others will make a small donation in celebration for this new milestone. May God continue His Work through you all.
Congrats to all the team at Divine Office, it is a great service to those who might not pray the office were it not for you
