The Holy Guardian Angels
Memorial
“See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven,” (Mt 18:10).[1]
Today is the memorial of the Holy Guardian Angels. In Sacred Scripture, we see angels coming alongside mankind, carrying out God’s messages and supporting people in their affairs. The Catechism of the Catholic Church says, “Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life.” Holy Guardian Angels reflect to believers an invisible realm of the Kingdom of God, one that is actively participating in the history of salvation.
