Happy Birthday Divine Office!

On August 6th 2006 our first Catholic website and podcast series went live. Seven years have passed and over five years since DivineOffice.org website was launched.

We have prepared this simple infographic to celebrate our anniversary, please feel free to share it 🙂

This seventh year of activity has began wonderfully thanks to all of you, through the recognition of Divine Office as the best Catholic website, podcast, iPhone and iPad apps in the About.com Readers Choice Awards for the third year in a row!

We regularly serve 160,000 audio prayers in one day. We are broadcast on numerous radio stations daily with several more coming online this fall. Last year 2.8 million people visited our site and 525,000 joined in prayer showing a 60% year-over-year growth trend. What started as a mustard seed of an apostolate is blossoming and making a real change in the world. We ask for your patience with our imperfections, that you spread the word, support us financially if you have the means, and mostly importantly, please keep us daily in your prayers.
