Announcement: Server Migration Monday, January 20 for
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We want to let you know about an important update happening this Monday, January 20. We are migrating to a new internet service provider. Our current hosting solution has served us well, but as our community expands, we’ve outgrown it. Upscaling with our current provider would double our hosting costs, so we’ve opted to move to a new provider that offers a better balance of performance and sustainability.
This migration is a significant step for Divine Office, and we’ll be testing this new server solution for the next month. During the migration process, here’s what you should be aware of:
1. Temporary Service Disruptions:
Some parts of the website and mobile apps may be temporarily unreachable during the migration. We’ll work diligently to keep interruptions as brief as possible, but your patience is greatly appreciated.
2. Reset of Prayer Locations and Numbers:
After the migration, the displayed prayer locations and the number of people in prayer will reset and will take some time to re-populate. This is part of the transition process, and everything should normalize within a few days.
3. Reporting Issues:
If you notice the website or mobile apps behaving unusually after the migration—such as trouble posting prayers, comments, or reflections—or if any feature doesn’t seem to work as before, we encourage you to let us know. Your feedback will help us ensure everything runs smoothly on the new servers.
How to Report Issues:
If you experience any problems, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Be as specific as possible so we can address the issue promptly.
Thank you for your support, patience and prayers during this transition as we work to ensure that Divine Office continues to be a place of prayer and connection for everyone.
By the grace of God, together, we continue to grow in faith, united in the rhythm of prayer.
With gratitude,
The Divine Office Team
