Dane Falkner, Divine Office founder and producer, prepared a video message for you, our community members, supporters, our brothers and sisters in Christ.

The purpose is:

• to thank you for your response to our fundraising appeal

• announce our plans to improve the functionality of the website

• and remove the requirement for registration in US

• to bring you the Office for the Dead, not just on the website but also on the Divine Office app

• to talk about our plans for the Second Edition of the Liturgy of the Hours

• and share with you what opportunities have arisen now that we have the permissions we need.

Let us praise God for the many blessings that continue to nourish our faith and enhance our community!

  1. I am exploring your site, divine office.org. You are providing a wonderful service, thank you for your work. I have been using Universalis for over a year now for Lauds and Night Prayer. During Lent I am going to say 1 of the afternoon prayers well and explore more of your site.

  2. One thing I would like to see on the app is Comments. I use it almost exclusively When I do go to the website, I usually find there are either no new comments from the staff. So I don’t come back again for several months. I had not head of the DO being approved by the USCCB until today. It would be nice to get these kind of messages on the app.

Love the app, and will continue with my monthly contribution for at least another year. The paid version of the app and a bit every month is a small price to pay for such a great apostolate.

  3. Praise God. I am delighted that the outpouring of generosity exceeded your needs and expectations. It sounds like you have a great plan. If I can be of any service with your new production, I would be honored to help.

  4. As a Lay Cistercian…obligated to pray morning and evening prayer, you have made a wonderful and very useful web site.
Others are available but you site is the BEST. Because of your efforts, I don’t have to flip back and forth in the pages of a book and I can have availability anytime with my phone. I like to go to a quiet cemetery to pray The Office and you have made this possible for me and everyone else. Thank you very much.

  5. I feel part of something bigger than my self-prayers. And part of that is support , albeit my small contribution, and prayer for the ministry.

  6. Hi Thank you and all those active in this ministry. It is been a great blessing to me

I suggest that you remind those working on prayer petition for the next edition to remember that the purpose of the divine office is continual prayer and prayer for the salvation of ALL mankind and not just the salvation of those of us who are praying it This is a subtle difference from the current prayers
    God bless

  7. Thank you very much for sharing this great news, how amazing and yet not really, because your work is really God’s work, isn’t it? Just like Mother Teresa of Kolkota’s work. God provides, opens doors, leads to better and greater things for His glory. Thank you very very much for everything, including the walk, so refreshing and invigorating. You are rare!

  8. My apology. The prayer is called the ‘Te Deum’.
Now that I use my iphone often for morning & evening prayer it will be good to also be able to pray the Office for the Dead, already possible on my desk computer.
Wondering how photo was made possible, don’t remember. And how to remove or change it?

  9. Just enjoyed the video with Dane…thank you for sharing your walk. Always curious of the faces behind the voices.
I especially wait for the Office of the Dead / De Teum to be on the site…as a Lay Dominican this is part of our prayers when someone among us dies, and being able to access it this way will be good.

  10. Thank you so much for sharing your blessings with us. God will always bless you with more as you are a blessing to others, too. Good luck to your 2021 and beyond plans. God be with you and your team always. Cheers!

  11. This is wonderful news, Dane. It is a pleasure to support a ministry that begins and ends my day. May God continue to bless you and all those who assist you in this vital apostolate.

  12. God is good, may He continue to Bless you, your team, and your ministry. Thank you for all you do and have done to build up the Kingdom.

  13. Thank you… and deep gratitude to our Lord for inspiring you to start this ministry. You reach not only the USA but also here in Canada. Love in Christ through OLMC

  14. OUR PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED. THE DIVINE OFFICE IS AVAILABLE TO PROVIDE A DAILY CATECHESIS TO ALL. MAY YOUR APOSTOLATE CONTINUE TO FULFILL THE GREAT COMMISSION.
    THANKS BE TO GOD!
    WE LOVE YOU, BYE-BYE.

  15. Thank You for all you do for this invaluable ministry. I haven’t been able to donate yet, but I will as soon as I can. Deacon Jim Scull
